Conducted research as an undergraduate student in the field of composites and self-healing materials. The project included the construction and mechanical characterization of modified composites plates with self-healing functionalities, as well as, execution of low velocity impact, compression tests before and after impact according to the Airbus.

• During this 8-week internship I worked as a member of the Mechanical Equipment Maintenance and Desisgn Department assisting experienced engineers.The post included the following tasks:
• Performed installation and on site repair of the Seatrac structure (A structure which can be used by persons with kinetics disabilities in order to facilitate their access to the sea).
• Created a plan on improving company’s warehouse organization. Suggested alterations to the assembly, repair and storage space to minimise the time needed for the aforesaid tasks.
• Utilized CAD software to create alternative designs for Seatrac in order to increase its mechanical properties and delivered suggestions on how to improve specific physical properties.
