Currently working in the Apollo Adlux Hospital Expansion Project in Kochi as the Project Engineer. Planning, coordination, scheduling, conducting the meetings, documentation of issues and actions pertaining to construction schedule.  Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with engineering consultants/ collaborators, external suppliers, contractors & clients.  Establishing long-term relationship with vendors, and managing day-to-day supplier performance for ensuring meeting of service, cost, delivery & quality norms.  BOQ preparation prior to site mobilization.  Proper coordination with the client & consultant as well as co-workers & subcontractors for timely completion of project with best quality.  Obtain approval of all construction materials from the client/consultant as per project specifications.  Coordination with designers for clarifications in drawings for proper execution of works.  Prepare / help to prepare AutoCAD drawing for new / on-going projects.  Accept measurements and sign on the project measurement books.  Preparation of documents for the project measurement book.  Perform the tests like compressive strength test (cube test), sieve analysis for coarse and fine aggregates, slump test and so on.  Get quotations from different suppliers & discover the best offers for materials.  Procurement of construction materials and ensuring quality & timely delivery.  Reconciliation & timely updating of inventory for the construction materials received in the project site.  Review drawings, estimate the quantity of materials required for the upcoming week / month.  Ensure all materials & civil works are as per approved drawings and specifications.  Give/check levels using auto level (mostly prior to new activities).  Work allocation to subordinates and continuous follow up with them for timely completion.
