Responsible for analyzing and improving an existing ‘Cash Disbursement System’ by introducing a well-defined logging, configuration, and data access component and a stable exception handling system for the service. • Completely re-engineered service in .NET (Windows service with c#) and replace the existing scripting ‘Cash Disbursement System’ in VC++ technology. Participated in rewrite of a bank owned framework written in java to C# and also convert all the application code written in java to C# using a tool Java Language Conversion Assistant (JLCA).• Developed a host of customizable UI components in .NET that provide the equivalent functionality of their swing counterparts.• Designed and developed an UI Manager in .NET to support multiple themes for the UI in the banking application.• Responsible for converting java into a .NET equivalent code (Win-forms with c#) using the tool JLCA (java language conversion assistant). • Carried out code review, unit tests on the components developed and tool converted .NET equivalent code.
