As a Network Engineer I have been involved with the day-to-day operations within Data Center infrastructure. Developed ability to work under pressure in a fast moving environment. I have been responsible for support and project work in the Data Center. Working on ticket based system troubleshooting issues based on priority.Main Duties and Responsibilities• DeploymentWorking on deployment, developing infrastructure to meet client needs.o Installation of Multilayer switches, servers, modules, transceivers.o Complete preparation, Installation and upgrade security cabinet (ESSL rack, High Security Cabinet)o Cabling power, 1GB or 10GB SFP+ connections. Providing uplink connections.• Tickets & TroubleshootingWorking fast and efficient on a ticket based system. Including access request, scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot issues on priority based ticketing.o The ticket maintenance include: reinstallation of OS, replace components and connections troubleshoot (fibre LC & SC, patch cable SFP+,CX4,QSFP+...)o Working with NIE (Network Infrastructure Engineer) for troubleshooting and Deployments.o Handle fibre optic: JDSU-OTDR; troubleshoot, clean ,replace, upgrade.• Datacentre Hardwares include:o Transmode TM-2000, Transmode TM-3000 & Transmode TM-3000 II,Juniper MX960, Juniper MX80, Juniper EX8208,Cisco 6503,Cisco 3750 E series, Cisco ASR 9000, Cisco Nexus 7706HP,Quanta Switch, NetMgmt, Zt Sys, Dell, Ciara.
