Officials initially ordered an IP firm to perform an intellectual property report on the patent family protecting the OK! technology. Due to positive results obtained, officials then brought a digital security consulting firm to conduct a security audit on OK!, confirming that it is a rare yet effective malware prevention solution.• Since 2016, after a malware analysis course with master Jonathan Banfi, Manu started his basic malware analysis practice on artifacts received by e-mail. In 2017, he approached VMRay to make K21 an official sales representative. He developed his own nested virtual machine environment in 2018 to conduct malware analysis; it became double-nested in 2023.• In 2023, experts at the National Institute of Standards and Technology admitted K21's concept paper along with proposals sent by other cyber-security industry players such as Fortinet, CrowdStrike, Microsoft, ISACA, TCS, IBM, and others. The NIST was collecting expert knowledge to publish version 2.0 of their Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) guide. K21 confirmed the importance of applying resilience mechanisms that protect computer systems by interrupting cyber-attacks at early stages, even before they are detected. Show less -
