 Contributed significantly towards seamless execution and completion of 2 transitions – Maersk Oil (Reverse Migration – India to Romania) and Maersk Drilling (Denmark to India):o Currently working on the third migration – (Reverse Migration – India to Poland).o Ensuring all migrations are done as per committed timelines, scope, quality, and stakeholder expectations. Preparing and maintaining company-wise financial statements, bank account reconciliations, and consolidation reports in compliance with statutory/regulatory guidelines, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Control) controls, and company norms. Ensuring adherence to all defined processes, SOPs, and policies along with compliance to the deadlines/timelines. Verifying cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy, balancing general or subsidiary ledgers with respect to accuracy and zero errors:o Approving account payable payment proposals and checking all accounts receivable invoicing in terms of rig day-rate, catering, and 3rd party charges. Performing cash flow forecasts on a fortnightly basis in line with available funds/credit limit to ensure occurrence of delayed/stopped payments. Creating and maintaining monthly invoices, PO accruals, and closing books in line with the IFS and Reporting OneStream; validating and resolving any identified discrepancies or errors to ensure true and correct reflection of financial numbers.

 Supported the financial goals of the client by ensuring effectiveness of the accounting activities, which included financial statement closures, reconciliations, tax return filing, invoicing, payment processing, cash flow forecasting, and more. Prepared Cash Calls (Cash Requirements Forecast) and Expenditure Billings Statement for the multiple JV Partners and created quarterly workings for re-evaluation of current assets and liabilities. Ensured preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of financial statements which included monthly reviews of all reconciliations and general ledger entries to ensure correct reflection of balance positions. Managed TDS return fillings, service tax returns, and audit schedules for statutory and tax audits; supported the audits in terms of providing requisite documentations, explanations, and other pertinent information Handled all vendor related accounting activities – vendor invoicing, balance confirmations, review of vendor ageing reports, bi-annual reconciliations, payment processing, and more. Coordinated with the external vendor SUN for implementation of the new automation report.

 Created, submitted, and maintained all financial statements and reports including account and bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, invoicing, audit schedules, inter-venture reconciliation and settlements, and others:o Prepared the quarterly DGH Report, Cost Audit Report, Variance Statement, year-end Financial Statements, Cash Requirement Forecasts, Expense Billing Statements, and various other requisite MIS reports. Scrutinized the GL and account balances on a periodic basis, reviewed advances given and ensured timely adjustments, reviewed vendor ageing reports and bi-annual reconciliations, monitored AER-wise expenditure, and cost analysis. Successfully completed 2 special projects – closed pending open items within space of 6 months and completed partner audits pending from >15 years; addressed challenges such as non-digitized records/reports and other similar issues.  Reviewed open vendor advances, GRIR accounts, analyzed CWIP (Capital Work-in-Progress), and capitalization/charge-off the same in the books of accounts.  Facilitated various audits such as statutory, DGH, and SOX and ensured 100% compliance with the same. Played a key role in the implementation of a new automated report in SAP; coordinated with user to create and update GL Master Data, vendor, assets, WBS, and Cost Center.
