Executed 12 politically sensitive missions in the Eastern Pacific area of operation.Supervised the training and maintenance schedules of ships, ensuring mission readiness and reduction in emergency repair times. Produced over 15 storyboards, briefings and debriefings regarding naval operations in support of the commodore and admiral in the area of responsibility.• Damage Control Assistant | USS MILIUS (DDG 69) | November 2017 – August 2019Managed maintenance repairs and contractor negotiations saving USS Milius $750,000 inrepairs and maintaining ship readiness. Trained over 300 personnel in Damage Control techniques ensuring self-sufficiency during Eastern Pacific deployments. Coordinated and executed two highly visible ship qualifications earning an above 90% overall score.Reviewed and performed required preventative maintenance on firefighting, survival and rescue gear. Performed over 200 hours of Gas Free certifications including emergency scenarios establishing a safe environment for personnel.• Weapons Officer | USS COMSTOCK (LSD 45) | May 2015 – November 2017Observed equipment during simulations, testing and firing exercises to identify and correctsystem malfunctions or operator errors. Controlled munition inventory, storage and distribution totaling over $1 million. Advised commanding officers on weapons operations, capabilities and unforeseen operational problems. Trained and managed the antiterrorism team through a 5th fleet deployment.
