My duties was to:Provide assistance to the Asset Integrity department on the logistics operation of the Angola business.Liaise with appointed forwarders and customs officials to ensure all shipments are documented and processed in accordance with procedures and local regulations.Supervise and track all the shipping movements of all Asset Integrity equipment within Angola, offshore and to and from international destinations in collaboration with the SCM Team.Liaise with Dubai on pre-alerts of all shipments entering and leaving Angola Liaise with clients to apply for exoneration on defined shipments.Apply for import and export licences in accordance with the SCM team.Request for freight quotations and liaise with the operations team on movement requests.Distribute the TLD badges.Be responsible for the Radioactive sources spreadsheet. Apply for the Licence to use Radioactive Sources and ensure these are renewed prior to the expiring date. Apply for Authorization AREA letters (Import, Export & Transfer).Be based at SONILS Base every Thursday morning to ensure all the Asset Integrity equipment is properly tracked & distributed accordingly. Ensure the radioactive sources are stored at the Isotope container accordingly. Liaise with areas of operation on calibrations requirements & raise request for 3rd party inspection / calibration of equipment, track all equipment requiring calibration. Liaise with airport agent attendance to give assistance to crew change from airport to guest house and vice verse.

Received the pre-alert (supplier) of shipments via the Internet.Prepared the payment note based on the acquisition of goods from the system (database).Controlled goods at bay until the arrival of it till deposits.Controlled the final accounts of the brokers for subsequent payment fees to the Department of Accounting / FinanceUsed to go to the field Luanda/Cunene (both Angolan provinces) whenever there were any issue to be solved.
