6-week internship with the Motorsports Department at PT. Astra Honda Motor, also known as Astra Honda Racing Team (AHRT). Motorcycle Racing Team competing in various competitions (e.g. FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Road Race, Mandalika Racing Series, Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup, etc). Responsibilities: • Creating pre- and post-race reports • Analysing and Understanding Technical Regulations, then using that knowledge to assist the conversion a road bike into a race bike. • Analysing lap times and performance across multiple riders and circuits. • Providing assistance to the Mechanics, Engineers and Riders during Race Weekend.

Mechanical Engineering Department at TUM Boring, an organization dedicated to creating the world’s fastest Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM). I contributed to the design and development of the flamethrower concept as well as the construction of the team’s workshop.

During this 4 weeks internship I learned the process of manufacturing a motorcycle, including how quality of the product is controlled during the process of manufacturing and how each inspection facilities functions. In addition, I evaluate and assess product quality and contribute in the post-production reparation of defective motorcycles.
