Mission: To fight the “WINDMILLS OF CORRUPTION AT THE CITY OF OAKLAND”.For the last four years a group of Hispanic has been systematically prevented by a corrupt member of the Oakland City Council, who illegally used several employees of the City of Oakland from the Fire, Police, Building and certain other Departments of the City of Oakland. The corruption of Government Officials reached even a Judge of the United States Justice Department in Oakland, who exhibited unbridled racial and language discrimination against the Hispanic community. The Federal Judge denied the eight Hispanic families their constitutional rights and immunities and did not allow them to defend themselves in Court and even destroyed and suppressed evidence which allowed for a verdict that deprived them of an investment of over $1,250,000 of their lifetime savings which they had invested in an Oakland business.To achieve my goal, I will ask of you to help me fight "THE WINDMILLS OF CORRUPTION IN THE CITY OF OAKLAND" as Don Quijote did in his quest to "DESFACER ENTUERTOS".

  WES Foundation offered academic exchange to the United States to high school students from around the world. Also created scholarships for economically disadvantaged students in Chile, one scholarship named after my father, Manuel Cabello, Sr., for a distinguished but economically disadvantaged student form the Malloco High School, where he was Principal during the 1950s. A second scholarship honored my brother, Winston Dwight Cabello, who was murdered by the Pinochet regime. This scholarship was awarded on a competitive basis to economically disadvantaged students in Copiapo, where Winston was Regional Director of the Office of Economic Development in 1973. Also, to honor Winston's name, the Cabello family established a Fellowship through the University of California at Berkeley, with the cooperation of the International House and the University of California Administration.
