I worked as a consultant and submitted a 47-page report for San Francisco-Marin Food Bank to reassess the likelihood a household may face food insecurity either in San Francisco & Marin County.- Reported income data using 2017-2022 American Community Survey, cataloging over 50 income statistics across ZIP codes between San Francisco and Marin County (via ZCTAs).- Use of R programming language to compile and analyze relevant American Community Survey data on the county level for both San Francisco and Marin County. - Cataloged 40 separate sources, including interviews and discussions with other anti-hunger organizations of their own methods to identify food insecurity.

- Assisted in-compiling and analyzing income data used to assess retirement security and elder financial security.- Assisted in compiling relevant retirement income security data of low, and middle income workers; communities of color; and regional income data in California.- Utilizing software programs such as Stata & Excel to analyze American Community Survey (ACS) data.

* During my summer internship in 2023 with the California State University Employee’s Union (CSUEU), I was able to momentarily assist in the efforts by the bargaining team to negotiate for a salary step structure for union staff across CSU campuses, leading to a landmark tentative agreement with CSU management in October 2023. - I helped analyze over 16,000 union employee entries to help assess for review different salary step structures of interest to the Union. - I sorted data by specific requirements, then implemented varying minimum and maximum salary ranges for different step case-use. - I used programming software (Excel) to sort data by job classification, and to fill missing fields with data referenced elsewhere in the dataset if possible.

- As part of a team, I helped to conduct a 70-page evaluation and needs assessment for the City of San Francisco’s Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing; Examining participants' use of its move-in assistance.Identified key outcomes of the program via a quantitative and qualitative policy analysis:- Reviewed recipient data provided by the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing and addressed any needs gaps concerning program recipients.- Performed numerous qualitative interviews with HSH staff, community organizations, and recipients of the assistance program to further assess the program’s reach and impact.

- Conducted research with Professor of Anthropology, Benjamin Junge to assist with his ethnographic research of Brazil’s “emerging middle-class” and the perils of using blanket terms like ‘middle-class’ or ‘previously poor’ to classify a complex economic change among the Brazilian population.- Performed intensive literature reviews to examine trends of political alignment and class identification and subjectivities among the Brazilian populace after the enactment of economic policies by the Lula Government between 2003 and 2011.
