This necessitates coordinating and giving direction to the various departments which drive the hotel, namely the reception, maintenance and housekeeping.2. Being familiar, and keeping abreast, with work practices of all the hotel departments, so that I can coordinate better, and offer optimum guidance when necessary.3. Supervising and assuring the quality of services provided by entities within the hotel which are farmed out, like the catering outlets and the various bars.4. Taking over the responsibilities of the General Manager in his absence, including contact and coordination with suppliers, dealing with head office and top management and the directors.5. Conducting interviews, together with the heads of the various department, to ensure high quality of staff.6. Handling and replying to comments, both when received during the guests stay, or when made after the guests departure, or when reported in the social media and operators websites. Show less
