Head of the GBSS Nearshore México team. Our team provides support to LATAM region, Spain and the US. Our fields of expertise includes Procurement, Accounts Payable, T&E, Accounts Receivable and Contracts.

Internal auditor testing revenue controls for SOX and USGAAP compliance.

I was part of a great team of 8 accountants and 2 financial analysts. Which under my supervision aimed to giving support to finance staff for around 15 companies in México and 2 more in the US. -Coordination of finance departments to complete month end activities for US gaap books.-SOD review and implementation of strong processes to eliminate conflicts or develop mitigating controls.-Delivery of financial statements and financial analysis to management.-Coordination of year end activities to close statutory books.-Support to financial and SOX audits to acomplish zero findings.-Internal controls SOX audit to the different departments part of the Shared Services such as: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Treasury, supporting to develop and execute strong processes.-Monitoring and accounting of BS accruals such as: Profit share, Pension Liability, Payroll accruals and Tax and audit fees.

In charge of preparing the portfolio and accounting of the ABS program. (with aprox 700M USD AR pool) reporting directly to Corporate Treasury to deliver financial analysis for decision making. Coordinating around 50 sites from different regions. (Americas , Europe and Asia) to deliver financial information and support external audits.In 2015 I lead the project to develope a new reporting in-house tool, working along with Corporate Treasury and coordinating the banks and IT teams. The succesfull execution of this project saved the company around 35k USD fee being charged by the external party who was providing the reporting and accounting services.

I supported Guadalajara south campus, one of the biggest sites in Flex. Supporting site finance staff for US gaap closing, internal and external audits, review of OIE, BS accruals, BS revaluation for monetary accounts. P&L analysis to improve processes within the finance team. I participated in the migration system from 4-Shift to BaaN V.

I was in charged of around 15 bank accounts, to reconciled, follow up open ítems and standardized procceses.
