As General Director of the association I plan, design, manage and participate in all the actions that are carried out. If I had to highlight a quality that defines me, it is versatility since, being a small association, I have to get involved in practically all areas from institutional relations, project management, negotiation processes, cost control, communication, etc. My work therefore ranges from the establishment of the strategic lines to follow, such as the search for suppliers to carry out a certain job or service, preparing reports, preparing and analyzing monthly statistical data, preparing communications for the press as well as for social networks, ensure and establish the contents of the website, etc.The association is made up of all the manufacturers and importers of vehicles in Spain, together with practically all the spanish authorized treatment facilities (ATFs) for end of life vehicles (ELVs), and the Board of Directors meets monthly where the situation reports and all activities carried out or planned are reported.One of the most noteworthy activities is the management of the network of Authorized Treatment Centers (ATFs) for all automobile brands in Spain. The network currently has 588 centers to which various services are provided and with which close communication is maintained through very different channels. It is important to point out that thanks to the work of SIGRAUTO, brands in Spain have the largest and most well-distributed network of ATFs in the entire European Union.Although my functions are carried out at national level, it can be considered that I am the representative of Spain at international level when it comes to the management of ELVs. It is in this context that I maintain an important international relations activity. From the attention to companies and administrations from all over the world that are interested in the sector to the participation in the International Congresses on the matter, the visit of treatment facilities that incorporate innovative technologies for the sector, the participation in the elaboration of the standards at European level, etc.
