During this time, I was also involved in project update meetings with clients to actively plan the work and engage in creating tailor-made solutions for the customer needs.

PhD thesis developed at the Biomolecular Engineering Laboratory entitled"Artificial scaffolds for affinity-triggered bioseparations", supervised by Dr. Cecília Roque and Dr. Ana Pina.The aim of the thesis was the development of platform downstream purification strategies of antibodies based on novel affinity-based multimodal ligands. To achieve this, strategies combining synthetic combinatorial and biological scaffold libraries were employed. Under the scope of the thesis, a collaboration with a UK biotech company was established to further explore the applicability of the technologies discovered.
