Deputy Head of Engineering  March 2020 – PresentResponsible for Engineering discipline works while ensuring engineering activities are performed with competence, consistency with codes, regulations, good practice and with economic viability.The Deputy Head of Engineering works closely with the Head of Engineering and assists in directing, managing, supervising, and coordinating the activities and operations within the organization.. Other Responsibilities include:- Assists in the management of the organization- Provides strategic vision on the organization’s policies and programs including budget reviews, work plan implementation and reporting- Serves as a technical authority for opportunities and issues related to the organization- Provide value-added expertise in engineering subject and projects- Identifies needs not addressed by current projects and heavily contributes in the development of new projects- Plans, directs, coordinates and review the work plan for assigned staff, assigns work activites, projects and programs. - Revews and evaluates work products, methods, procedures, meets with staff to identify and resolves problems- Ensures that the policies and procedures implemented are consistent with best practices- In consultation with Head of Engineering establishes standares and processes for providing of resources- Assist with establishing minimum engineering and construction standards applicable to the organization works.- Coseout reviews and compliance- Promote alignment with overall strategy and visions - Foster relations with US and international organizationsa nd assists in the development of parternships and collaborative efforts

Responsible for design work (mechanical & structural) for the execution of projects. While ensuring engineering activities are performed with competence, consistency with codes, regulations, good practice and with economic viability.Promote and assure quality on all Design work performed by the Design Group.The Head of Department - Design works on cost, scheduling, technical and overall productivity of designers. Furthermore, design managers supervise designers and communicate expectations for the project. Other Responsibilities include:- Prepare quantity estimates related to industrial and bulk material handling systems - Assist in development of engineering proposals- Directly supervise, schedule and monitor designs and design group, coordinate and direct designers in the creation of drawings; - Develop and implement work processes and procedures for the production of quality engineering deliverables- Provide oversight and technical know how on bulk material handling systems to design group- Directly support and provide technical supervision to design team - Manage drafting, CAD and engineering documentation ensuring quality drawing creation- Assign/Manage resources of design group to project(s) assigned, manage staffing levels - Supervise the design group and assures that all design and drafting procedures and standards are followed- Provide leadership and managing a technical staff- Provide independent reviews and consults for technical matters on projects- Interface with Project Managers, Engineers and clients as required- Assist Project Managers and design team with assembling the methodology for completing the design project effort- Analyze designs for efficiency of construction, use of materials, functionality and practicality of design

Responsible for mechanical design work, execution plan and coordination of design work for all mechanical equipment. Coordinate work based on mechanical engineering progress and scheduled milestones.

Responsible in the coordination between the areas of mechanical, structural and electrical.Perform conveyor analysis, including design, supply, erection as per specifications and client needs.Supervise the design work associated with all interfaces between areas of mechanical, structural and electrical.Assist field operations and technical support.Develop plan action and technical evaluation for project specifications.Plan, organize and schedule the production of design work.Responsible of mechanical equipment selection while having a sound technical.Evaluation that meets customer requirements and specifications.

Development of schedule for project in progress. Performed conveyor analysis for the conveying system's project Coordinate work with Manufacturing/Designing-Detailing. Coordinate communication between customer and supplier from the beginning till the termination of the project. Responsible for technical support on field operations. Analyze project specifications, and proposals to establish an action plan. Oversee projects in all stages from proposal to erection & construction.

Involved in the engineering, design and detail for conveying units. Specified mechanical components for the project that applies best for the application involved. Coordinate work with Project Manager. Responsible in the calculations in various fields, mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and structural.
