Work with production to identify key areas for reliability improvements, develop action plan, and work to implement action planDevelop action plan(s) to eliminate repeat failures, and implement corrective actionsTroubleshoot equipment problems and conduct root cause failure analysis investigations on failed equipmentParticipates unit HAZOP’s and MOC’s. Initiates and completes MOCs for mechanical changesResponsible for design, review and approval of temporary repairsResponsible for job note development and deliveryResponsible for review and approval of engineering drawings for replacement in kindfabricated equipmentEnsure that all inspection plans/strategies are in place during service repair of equipmentField oversight of PM efficacy and adjustment of PM’s as neededProvide technical support to all Mechanical Integrity Specialists and Mechanical Integrity Inspectors as it relates to mechanical repairs, troubleshooting problems, and equipment installation issuesProvide technical support to the Project Engineering Department on the selection of mechanical equipment based on reliability improvements and industry best practices

Provide customer service and respond to customers technical issues and questions regarding pump systems: mechanical design improvements, hydraulic re-rates and enhancements, vibration analysis, metallurgical problem solving, corrosion/erosion, optimize plant systems/rotating equipment interfaces, maintenance and system operation/limitations, thrust calculations, seal flush plan optimization and baseplates. Provide technical training for sales personnel, supports administrative functions of the department, including, design review, project reporting and team meetings.
