I am an Assistant Project Manager at Parette-Somjen Architects which specializes in educational K-12 projects as well as commercial and corporate interiors. As an Assistant Project Manager in a high-volume architectural firm, I have learned how to manage all phases of a variety of architectural projects. From initial concept sketches to construction administration, I am involved with the project throughout its life. Working with senior staff members and the client, I oversee the production of construction documents, project manuals and specifications. During the construction administration phase I am the main point of contact for both the client and the contractor. I coordinate project meetings, review submittals, change orders, payment applications and RFI's, conduct field visits and ensure that the project meets client expectations.
