The Army Reserve Element provides trained and ready Soldiers in support of Army Sustainment Command's global mission. Integrating with AFSB's, to conduct operational staff support in the areas of intelligence, readiness analysis, current and future operations, and integrated logistics support.As the Senior Enlisted Leader (SEL), I assume a role of advising and assisting the commander in matters related to unit personnel. I am responsible for the mentorship, development, and welfare of all unit soldiers, providing guidance on career progression and professional development. Additionally, I play a key role in the planning and execution of unit training programs, ensuring that our soldiers are prepared for their respective roles and responsibilities throughout the US Southern Command.Within my scope is also to enforce discipline and standards within the unit, fostering a culture of professionalism and adherence to Army regulations. I serve as a bridge between the Army Reserve Element (ARE) and the US Southern Command, conveying the concerns and needs of our soldiers while implementing the vision and policies of my leadership.As the Sergeant Major, I am often involved in personnel management, overseeing assignments, promotions, and evaluations and participate in leadership councils, offering insight on issues affecting the force. Through experience and expertise I am able contribute to our overall unit readiness and effectiveness, making our soldiers indispensable leaders within the Army and command.

Special Operations Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Non-Commissioned Officer: Ensure the security and safety of the unit and its personnel in high-risk and sensitive environments. 1. Force Protection Planning: Develop, coordinate, and execute force protection plans that safeguard special operations personnel, assets, and mission objectives. Assess potential threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend measures to mitigate risks.2.
