I wasn't expecting it, but I always had for myself that I would only leave the toy industry to embrace one of two industries: automotive (because that's basically what I enjoy the most since I'm 5) or renewable energy (because I truly believe that's the only way for a better world in all of its forms). It turns out there was an opportunitty where I could get both.. Amazing, right?

I was supossed to leave to embrace the new challenge, but to ensure a smooth and solid transition, I've supported the management team for a few months.

What a great experience! Responsible for building the PMO departement as part of Science4you long term strategy to refocus the company. Really good to understand the entire supply chain. Just wished I have had a bit more time to build some “structures”.

My first experience at Science4you. Gave me the time to understand the organization before having too much responsibility.

I believed in the concept back then and I believe it still today. With the rigth team, this startup can definetly be something huge. There is no more room for paper receipts. Digital is the way, and who gets there first with a solid presence will be worth millions. Or billions, like everyone expects these days.Loved the experience to live in Amsterdam. Learned more in three months at Startupbootcamp, then probably in 5 years at university.

Oh, another IT experience. Probably won’t use most of what I’ve learned here, but still, an amazing company with a truly inspiring leader at the wheel in Portugal (Luis Monteiro). Bookball is a dream to revolutionize the amateur sports market. Through a community of amateur sports people we aimed to create a peer-to-peer community where everyone is more active and healthy, while having fun.This is my hiden dream to which I think I’ll return one day.

I don’t really know what to say about this 10 months. Learned a bit of SAP MM which probably will never use again. Neverthless, very nice people, cool environment and good for those who look for a stady career.

Classic big 4 consultant. I don’t know how the other 3 are, but Deloitte definetly has many of the brighest professionals I’ve ever encountered. I would say that, professionaly, over 50% of what I am today comes from what I’ve learned in this years. Had an above average progression, but making money in Angola wasn’t my #1 priority. I think I did the rigth thing, but if I had stayed I would probably have my Porsche by now.

Tuff job, definetly not for everyone. Doing around 300kms a day to visit customers which don’t really want to be visited. Great sales experience and learning on how to build good professional relationships with everyone. From the security guy to the store director. Great experience, but doing exactly the same for 20 years was not for me.

My first “real” working experience while finishing my masters degree. Really good sales experience, but wanted more.

The dream job of every young boy. Driving over 400hp cars at amazing tracks and being paid to do it. What else?! Unfornately don’t pay enough to make it a living.
