To assist the North District Maintenance Manager in managing all maintenance functions associated with the day-to-day operation of the maintenance operation. Specific functions include making specific assignments of work to shift foreman; coordinating the routine availability of required parts; resolving operational and technical problems as they arise; and overall, assuring that sufficient vehicles are in condition for each day’ service. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager, Operations.

•Responsible for the day to day operations of the Maintenance Facility to include the scheduling and reporting of all preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on all fleet vehicles using the Fleetfocus M5 Maintenance Database System•Manage and supervise all maintenance personnel to include Mechanics, Mechanics’ Helpers, Cleaners and General Service Crews, Auto Techs, Service Techs and Inventory Clerks.•Coordinate parts availability for work load.•Manage time sheets and paid leave request of all maintenance personnel •File and track warranty claims on all fleet vehicles•Prepare repair estimates for accident claims•Consistently enforced established safety protocols and policies•Create and review work orders for accuracy•Perform post-repair quality checks to ensure TQM protocols are being achieved.•Successfully prioritize work assignments based on service demand vs available resources.in a high volume industrial fleet maintenance environment.
