Tooling: (Until 2010)New Tools and Tool repairs cost evaluation. (Small tools savings FY11 lineup Vs Asia side $60,000 USD).To lead tool purchase and quotation base on design specification.To follow up and inform Management about progressing on tooling construction and delivery plan according to PP and MP dates.To process and follow up payment requisitions for tooling purchased necessary for production.To follow up and inform Top Management complete full amounts tool purchases during year to assure BUDGET is kept as a top.To negotiate company contracts base on Legal Group and Company requirements.To solve difficult negotiations due to tool cancellation or Model drop.Tooling Budget Handling Amount: $25M USDPacking: CURRENTTo lead successful NMI parts schedule introduction To coordinate successfully the introduction of new parts between Design Group and supplier.Responsible to visit distribution center and suppliers.Commodity sourcing specialist for Packing Parts (Carton (Direct Print, Flexo Printing, Full Litho Label, Spot label), FOAM Cushion, FOAM Bags) in a 4.5 million unit production.Analysis of allocation strategies for cost improvement activities. (allocation change to local supplier $950,000 for FY11, Cost Saving Carton 1Q FY11 $700,000 USD below target,)Research of potential suppliers to achieve the cost targets, checking costs, quality and service level.
