The Asset Process Automation Leader is responsible for the process automation capabilities and requirements within the assigned area. The role has to develop and implement the asset specific automation strategy based on business needs and to enable most effective and safe production processes. Continues improvement of the installed PA technology and transforming the existing PA tools to Business MET to enable a highly reliable production process and most effective data management. Makes sure that new Projects are flawless integrated in the asset PA strategy and Business MET is used. Asset PA Lead is required to coordinate process automation project activities throughout the assigned assets. Works closely with the plant process control coordinators to improve plant health performance and to supervise small project activities. Develop and Implement the asset specific process automation strategies to assure state of the art process control, optimized data flow/work flow management and performance reporting.

In this role I'm focused on the optimization of WWT and utilities plants.I'm also involvde in the daily improvements of the production plant to make daily operations easy to do and to make the plant and productions more reliable.

In this role I'm involved in production and with the utilities plants. For the utilities: these plants need to be improved with new operating procedures and finding new and innovative solutions to increase the reliability. For the production: I'm the owner of some products and usually I follow daily production and, if need, solve quality issues, improve the stability of production in order to reduce the quality issue.

Process Engineer involved in a desulphurization project for a big refinery. Other minor job: sizing the WESP (Wet ElectroStatic Precipitator) for fumes treatment and other air pollution treatments.

I worked for a project to reduce cooling water consumption installing control and shutoff valves, inverter to control pump power, etc... This project had a payback time less than one year and was easy to realize.
