Artista Visual formada em Escultura pela UFRGS, Porto Alegre/RS. Natural de Arroio do Tigre/RS, vive e trabalha entre São Paulo e Berlim. Múltipla, a sua produção abarca desde videos e performances até oficinas colaborativas, passando pelo desenvolvimento de ilustrações, instalações e murais. Nessas diferentes frentes recorre sistematicamente a princípios de colagem, ruptura e embaralhamento da unidade espacial. Participou de projetos como Rumos Itaú Cultural 2009, Salão Arte Pará 2016, Bienal de Curitiba 2017, ZK/U em Berlim, AnnexB e Brooklyn Brush em Nova York e Fikra Graphic Design Biennial em Sharjah 2018, Emirados Árabes. Multifaceted visual artist living and working between São Paulo and Berlin. Her practice ranges from videos to performances, collaborative workshops, illustrations, installations, and more. On these different fronts, Manuela often departs from the mass media images found in magazines, and systematically resorts to the principles of collage and rupture, by shuffling of the spatial, contextual, and semantic unit of images from various sources. Manuela has participated in a variety of programs worldwide such as Rumos Itaú Cultural in São Paulo (BR), Utropic in Poznań (PL), ZK/U in Berlin (DE), AnnexB and Brooklyn Brush in New York (USA) and Fikra Graphic Design Biennial in Sharjah (UAE).
