The Data Center Lead works as the leading member of a team that manages the infrastructure of large and small scale data centers within the T. Rowe Price Global organization. The position works effectively within Technology organization to design, install, maintain and monitor hardware, power, infrastructure, cooling, space, and data communications equipment within TRP data centers. This position will work with internal clients and external vendors to assess internal room change requirements to update systems in order to meet the firm’s changing needs. This position provides a valuable service to the Technology and business organizations in order to continue providing state of the art, efficient technological solutions to our customers while managing a team of IT staff.

• HR, AP, AR coordination with top management including new hiring, time tracking, and payroll.• Negotiate, purchase, and maintain insurance policies including payment and performance bonding.• Processing of contract documents such as certificates of insurance, certified payrolls, and contract compliance reports.• Point of contact for CPA for all financial information including financial statements.• Work with project managers and general contractors to schedule and oversee projects execution.• Negotiate terms with suppliers and sub-contractors.• Schedule and negotiate deliveries with all suppliers.• Process and submit progress billing applications to customers. Track and collection of outstanding payment applications.• Prepare, negotiate and bill change orders with customers and sub-contractors.• Close-out project documentation.• Purchase, setup, and maintenance of hardware/software/network of 15-plus work stations.• Customer relations including traveling to new/current customers locations for new/current project meetings.
