Maintenance, operation and support the SLTE DWDM and SDH/SONET equipment in the Cable Landing Station and remotely using different TX Platforms. Troubleshoot any service affected in the submarine and terrestrial networks in order to solve any issue and recover the services. Supervise the quality installation of transmission and data equipment into the landing station according to the standard in relation to energy cables, optical fibers and racks and execute the ATP of new hardware installed. Operation and Maintenance the PFE equipment feeding the subsea cable.- Provisioning and testing new services (10GE, 100GE, STM-64) between different SLTE equipment like Alcatel, Xtera, Ciena and Tyco and terrestrial networks supported on Infinera, Huawei and Turin for North and South America customers.- Work on-call bi-weekly to troubleshoot critical incidents in the subsea and terrestrial networks and to solve any issue that could affect the normal operation of Cable Landing Station (AC/DC power and HVAC).- Execute maintenance windows like services migration between Xtera, Alcatel, Turin, Tyco, Infinera and Ciena equipment, wavelengths insertion, replace and board insertion.- Operate BER test equipment for testing and troubleshoot SDH/ETH/SONET services (10GE, 100GE, STM-64, STM-16, GE).- Operate the Network Management System of Alcatel, Infinera, Xtera, Ciena, Huawei, Tyco and Turin in order to analyze the alarms in the whole network and troubleshoot any issue with customers and providers in different countries- Operate and maintenance the Power Feed Equipment (PFE) to ensure the good operation of the Plant that energizes the submarine cable system amplifiers. Troubleshoot alarms following the procedures and parts replacement- Perform COTDR and troubleshoot any cut on the subsea system.
