    Amstar DMC is a company that receives more than 2 million people per year in all destinations of the company. In Cancun we receive a little more than 1 million tourists per year. The operation department performs around 250,000 services a year and uses around 350 daily transportation units where more than 280 are from external providers.My job is to control and supervise the service management of the tourism transportation providers. I am reported by more than 21 transportation providers.I developed and applied new policies and operating procedures. Create the quality and safety standards that currently govern the operation of the AMSTAR transportation providers.Among my functions is to coordinate & impart workshops and trainings on procedures that are intended to integrate tourism transport drivers to the work team as well as include them in quality management and safety of the service they perform. More than 80 hours of courses taught to more than 500 drivers and operatives team.I report to the operations management and the commercial direction through management and quality control reports. We have been able to detect areas of opportunity and take action on them. Amstar works in more than 5 countries where Cancun, Mexico has the best quality management in the transportation of the entire company, which I am currently leading. I supported the elaboration of the new Service Level Agreement for transportation suppliers which is annexed in the contract for the provision of services of transportation providers.Some achievements:-Fewer complaint letters during 2018 and 2019.-Drivers more committed to the company.-Transportation providers complying with 100% of the quality and safety standards -Less taxi payments.-Trained and experienced drivers.-Increase in the fleet of vehicles.-The AMSTAR destination (Cancun & Riviera) with the best quality of tourist transport service.-More than 250 vehicles revised in 2018 and more than 300 vehicules in 2019.
