Responsible for planning, coordinating, organizing, and controlling assigned products from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives. Strong interaction with R&D, Product Managers, Operations, Logistics, Industrial Engineering and Purchasing. Main tasks include:- Plan operation processes, operation sequences, resources, products and product lines under consideration of known manufacturing technologies and internal & external approval requirements- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of SAP master data (BOM, routing)- Calculate and coordinate capital expenditures- Value Engineering to promote the substitution of materials and methods with more efficient alternatives- Calculate and monitor costs for in-house and outsourced production (Make-or-Buy Analysis)- Responsible for assessing, evaluating and implementation of changes in new product launch process (Change Management)

- Leading and supervising the engineering team with 1 IE and 1 ME- Daily manufacturing support for assembly and base manufacturing - Time studies and maintaining routings- Continuous Improvement Processes: Designing of new assembly lines, fixtures, work systems, logistic layouts, Value Stream Mapping, 5S-Workshops- Support for Product Engineering: Finding solutions for issues on products in collaboration with Headquarters- Test Engineering: Installation of new air test benches, maintaining air test equipment, monitoring torque requirements
