At the age of 18, I left Argentina to study in the UK (did I mention I had never been to Europe before? Or that I didn't have all the financing to make the move?). I took a leap, gained perspective, and managed to self-finance my education in England. Upon graduation, I went back home to grow as a professional.After a few years in the consulting world, I transitioned to the non-profit sector to leverage some of the skills and experience I had gained. I thought a hiatus in my career and an opportunity to combine my newly found passion for social development with leadership and management skills would be interesting. The "sabbatical" ended up being a commitment to some of the most demanding challenges I have ever had to face (think responses to earthquakes, managing teams in multiple geographies, and everything in between).Fast-forward to today, living in five different cities, pursuing an MBA, setting up two small business financing programs in the US ($35M), and I’m still in constant pursuit of initiatives and organizations that want to push the boundaries of what they do and contribute to the community in which they operate.
