Civil Engineer graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in 1989, with a PDG from the IESE Business School - University of Navarra in 2008-2009.With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, I have established a solid career as an engineer specializing in civil infrastructure projects. During my tenure at Dragados, I participated in significant projects that made a lasting impact in and around Barcelona. Some of these notable projects include the construction of Plaza de las Glorias, the Vallvidrera Tunnel accesses, a section of Barcelona Metro Line II, and the Estació de La Pau, as well as the Baix Llobregat Highway. I also contributed to the construction of the Fredericton-Moncton Highway in Canada.Subsequently, I spent four years collaborating with Flash10.com, a telecommunications company, as Director of Infrastructures. Flash10.com aimed to deploy its own fiber optic network in 32 municipalities in Catalonia, pioneering the use of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technology in Spain.As a Delegate of AZVI, my primary responsibilities were to establish the company's presence in Catalonia, expand the client portfolio, increase project volume and revenue, and provide support in resolving technical and management challenges on construction sites. Since March 2013, I have taken on similar responsibilities in Murcia, Levante, Aragón, Rioja, and Navarra.From 2016 to 2019, I held the position of Director of the Middle East region, overseeing contracts in Qatar and Israel. This experience further enhanced my expertise in managing international projects and collaborating with multicultural teams.Since early 2016, I have served as the Director of International Business Development, focusing on Northern Europe and expanding my scope to North America. My role involves exploring new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and leading the company's growth in these markets.As a dynamic and passionate professional, I am eager to embrace new challenges in the field of civil engineering, both domestically and internationally.
