Manuel David, originally from Honduras, won an AFS scholarship based on academic achievement and community service when he was 17. He returned to the U.S. to attend college and later worked at Systems Integrator company in the field of industrial automation. He then joined a firm that implemented projects worldwide, with most of his assignments in Asia and South America. He became one of 5 project managers in a company of 200, planning, organizing and staffing projects ranging in value from $150,000 to $10 million. Mr. David founded Global Control Systems in 2000. He found his calling in working on complex batch and continuous process systems. Building on this strength, he assembled a stellar staff of process project managers and engineers to meet the demanding requirements of FDA-regulated companies and highspeed discrete manufacturing.
