Anesthesiologist Assistant Role: • Provide support services to anesthesiologists before, during and after surgical procedures.• Taking patients histories and performing examinations.• Testing and calibrating the anesthesiology equipment.• Helping prepare the patient for surgery. • Help monitor patient condition during surgery. • Provide anesthesia, solutions and medicines when under the direct supervision of an anesthesiologist. Circulating Nurse Role:• Provide support from the outside of the sterile area to the scrubbed nurse always applying non-touch sterile technique, focusing on maintaining a safe and comfortable environment• Inspecting and counting surgical equipment• Verifying the patient's identity and seeing that the family has signed the necessary consent forms. • Watch for possible errors during the procedure, such as possible contamination of an instrument.
