Manuel the Director and Founder of MPower Physical Therapy, an experienced exercise physiologist with a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and fitness goals.Manuel holds a Bachelors degree in Sport & Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology. Additionally, ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach and Certificate III and IV in Fitness. With over 10 years of experience in the field, Manuel has worked with a wide range of populations, including individuals with disabilities, chronic conditions and injuries, older adults, and athletes.Manuel has a holistic approach to exercise and rehabilitation and is skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments to identify an individual's strengths and limitations. Using this information, Manuel will work to develop a customised intervention/exercise program that is safe, effective, and tailored to an individuals specific needs and goals.Manuel is also experienced in providing exercise programs for individuals with disabilities and chronic medical conditions such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, global development delay, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and obesity to name a few. Manuel is able to work with medical referrals and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that the exercise program is appropriate for the individual's medical condition.Manuel is also experienced in working with older adults and is skilled in developing exercise programs that focus on improving balance, strength, and mobility to help reduce the risk of falls and improve overall quality of life.Manuel is also able to work with athletes and sports teams, providing sport-specific training, conditioning, and injury prevention programs.In addition to one-on-one sessions, Manuel also offers group exercise classes and educational workshops on various topics related to health and fitness.Manuel is committed to providing the highest level of care and service and is dedicated to helping individuals achieve your health and fitness goals.
