These will include tenants, investors, and other developers. Oversaw a portfolio of office, industrial, and residential assets. I led a collaborative and passionate team of highly-talented individuals to spot opportunities in the likely and unlikely places.

San Francisco Bay Area

The company is a leading crowdfunding real estate platform focused on sourcing and underwriting high-quality private real estate investments across the United States by working with top sponsors/developers in key markets. In my short time, I developed a streamlined underwriting process, able to analyze a significant amount of transactions in a short-period of time. Overall, I analyzed over 350 prospective deals across multiple markets and asset classes.

Along with some of the country's top brokers, I was responsible for building a thriving commercial brokerage organization in one of the fastest growing countries in the world. I applied my global real estate and finance experience within the local market. Our goal was to work on the most sophisticated projects to unlock value for both property owners and corporate occupiers, through the diligent analysis of data and transforming it into relevant and useful information.

In response to some of my clients, I started an independent financial and research advisory for the real estate and infrastructure industries. Brycg Group (pronounced "Bridge"), was meant to provide strategic solutions to local developers and investors. I led a team that worked on challenging assignments, analyzing on both the property and financial characteristics of a transaction. The case studies below highlight some of the work we accomplished during this time.

Philippines

I developed key relationships with local developers to help grow their property portfolios through greenfield and brownfield projects. In order to help take "ideas" to "reality", I established collaborative relationships with local and international sources of capital, advising clients on optimal debt/equity allocations. Overall, I worked hand-in-hand with the senior management of developers, investors, and occupiers, to develop implementable strategies for the short and long-term.

San Francisco Bay Area

I was part of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) which places exceptional applicants into challenging and multidisciplinary roles within the Bank’s operations to work on a variety of critical and high-impact assignments. The program provides dynamic experiences and interaction with management. Its goal is to develop the next generation of Bank leadership. I was exposed to various facets of the Bank including Facilities, Statistics, IT, Human Resources, Credit and Risk Management. I managed multiple projects and workgroups and presented findings to Senior Management which included a Cost Analysis and White Paper on the real estate portfolio of the Bank.

I was part of a highly-effective team working on some of the most complex financial advisory and management consulting assignments in real estate. I developed complicated cashflow models and ownership structures, at both the asset and portfolio-level, for REITs, Private Equity firms, Banks, Pension Funds, local and international developers. Pre-GFC, I worked mainly on acquisitions and joint ventures. Post-GFC, I worked mainly on workouts and debt/equity restructuring. Our assignments took us across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Greater New York City Area

My time spent in JLL NYC radically improved my Microsoft Excel skills for dynamic financial modeling (Pre- & After-Tax Cash and Net Present Value, Pre- & After-Tax GAAP, Lease vs. Buy, Construction and IRR Models). I worked on various Landlord Rep, Tenant Rep, Corporate Finance, and Capital Markets assignments for Fortune 1000 companies, before I transferred over to LaSalle Investment Management (LIM) in an attempt to create the firm's first fund combining RE & Infrastructure. At LIM, I sourced opportunities for economic and social infrastructure assets with real estate development opportunities.

Greater New York City Area

I provided management consultancy services to companies within the Financial Services, Insurance, and Real Estate industries across the United States. I worked on significant Mergers & Acquisitions transactions during this time with complex deliverables on tight timelines. My projects were generally strategic and operational, applying customizable and off-the-shelf technology. I worked in teams of 3 to 300.
