As Technical Network Engineer lead, responsible for Engineering enterprise data, voice, and video networks, advising in Network design and implementation. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate issues and make enhancements.• Oversees the installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance of network equipment and network software applications at Rosen Hotels & Resorts.• Maintain a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks.• Makes recommendations for improvements, and assists with annual budget preparation.• Work with vendors, clients, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management.• Manage Core network equipment (Routers/Switches/WLC) and Network Security equipment (Edge and VPNs Firewalls). • Network Infrastructure monitoring.• Work closely with the MTG MSP team as a network consultant

Responsible for day-to-day management and configuration of data, network equipment, and technological services provided under client contracts. Interface with internal and external personnel, vendors, and clients on all aspects of network and facility needs.• Manage Rosen Hotels & Resorts Network infrastructure. It converges multiple technologies and covers more than 3,000 users, 600 network devices, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls, and 4,500+ access points.• Manage Core, distribution, and access switches, including Cisco Nexus 9k, 7k, 5k, and 3k series, Catalyst 3850/3560x, Brocade ICX7200/7400, VDX 6740. Cisco ISR routers 4400X and Cisco ASR 1001-x• Manage Cisco Wireless Controller 5508 with a variety of access points 3600/1140/1810w series. Ruckus Virtual SmartZone and ZD 5000/3000 Series; and access point H500/R700/T610/7982• Manage Barracuda Next-Generation Firewall, NG F900/F400, and Cisco 5525-X firewalls.• Responsible for the POC (Proof of concept test) on new networks devices• Manage three Convention Centers (Rosen Hotels & Resorts.), deploying and supporting different Tier of Internet and networks services.• Work and manage monitoring and management networks software including Solar Winds Orion, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Secure Access Control System (Cisco ACS)• Monitoring Security Software including Carbon Black, Cylance, Tenable System Center• Participate in rotating on call schedule.
