In August '18 I joined the Corporation for the Development of the Border Zone of Nuevo Leon that manages the Border Port Colombia and its facilities. The goal of CODEFRONT is to facilitate international trade of users across the northern border of Nuevo León and promote the development of the area.From August '03 to July '18 I was a professor at ITESM Campus Monterrey, a faculty member of the Marketing and International Business Department, I teach courses of Operations Management, Transportation, International Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Food Supply Chain Management and Quantitative Analysis. Since February ’08 I had collaborated in ITESM's Biodesign project, we adopted an innovation methodology from Stanford University which culminated successfully with a patent.Specialties: Sourcing, Procurement, Transportation, Logistics, Global Supply Chain Management, Business Innovation and Business Logistics Innovation.I worked on the redesign and update of the Concentration in International Logistics offered by the Department of Marketing and International Business to become the Concentration in Global Supply Chains Management, six new courses were designed.Founder and tutor APICS Student Chapter – ITESM campus Monterrey, established in 2011. Accompanying teacher in the PLEI´s Mission to Southern Hemisphere during Summer of '11, we visited companies and logistics facilities in seven countries: Peru, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina and Uruguay.
