During my 15 month internship at Ontario Power Generation, I had many roles:• Software Developmento Created software to oversee all PM work orders and track their progress as well as their risk of going lateo Created software that increases maintenance efficiencies to track and stream-line work authorization across Darlington station. Estimated to save the station $2 Million per year in maintenance costs.o Created software that allows maintenance resources to find work when a crew is under scheduled at any time.o Helped to develop software that increases efficiencies in planning work across Darlington station. When first presented to senior management, initial reaction was to implement this program across all of OPG power stations.o Created software for outage department to find all PM work orders that need to be scheduled during a Unit outage. This process normally takes 5 weeks to complete and this program does it in 5 minutes.o Created programs to automatically generate reports, send emails and update back-end databases during non-business hours to allow workers to not have to work after hours.o Created program to help Reactor Safety keep track of Reactivity Management deficiencies in the station.• Preventative Maintenance Single Point of Contact (PM SPOC)o Maintained surveillance on all Preventative Maintenance (PM) Work Orders across the stationo Ensured no PM went late and worked with other groups like engineering and environment when deferral of work was declined• Work Control Single Point of Contact (WC SPOC)o Managed execution of high priority work in the stationo Created and distributed new work reports to appropriate departments, and recommended coding and priority information.• Station Condition Record Coordinator (SCR Coordinator)o Reviewing and summarizing SCRs for the Work Control senior managemento Disposition of actions taken, and attending the Station level review meeting on behalf of Work Control.

I am a developer for the controls sub-team, working on creating a 1/4 scale Formula One electric vehicle. I developed the accumulator model ring for the vehicle. My responsibilities also included modelling and simulating the Battery Management Unit on board the vehicle as well as determine any possible faults that can occur and their effect of the vehicle itself.
