RESEARCH ANALYSTØ Continuous monitoring and analysis of the international economic environment, and the macroeconomic and sectoral situation of Colombia. In addition, monitored regulatory changes, to determine the impact and their perspectives on the different businesses at the Bank and other companies of the Fundación Grupo Social. I added value to each of the committees I belong through: Ø Advising Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALM) on effectively balancing the position. Bank’s assets estimated in CAD$4.8 billion and passive of CAD 4.3 billion. Ø Advising the investment committees of the financial holding from the economic perspective (size of portfolios approximately CAD 1.5 billion). Ø Presentation of the most recent economic and financial events to senior managers, including the president, executive team, and other key stakeholders.Ø Conducting studies, analysis, and customized presentations based on the inquiries related with different sector of the economy and capital markets (average reports per week 11 in 2021). Ø Developing daily reports about international and local markets aimed at senior management and the different business areas (3 per day).Ø Forecasting macroeconomic and business variables to enrich the decision-making process of the Bank and other Holding companies (monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual).Ø Led the economic research team ensuring the fulfillment of all the reports, analysis, forecasting, and presentations (daily, weekly, monthly) in a timely manner.

• Increased productivity by creating new and more efficient models in order to monitor and to calculate de daily P&L for the Fixed income and FX positions.• Accurate and timely creation of reports to different institutions of government control in Colombia about the performance of the portfolio of Fixed income position, deposit interest rates, repos and interbank transactions.• Accurate and timely creation of reports to HSBC head quarters about the performance of the portfolio of Fixed income position, deposit interest rates, repos and interbank transactions. Also, the control and monitoring figures reported to Head quarters.• Efficient coordination with the Global Financial Team in order to accomplish all the requirements to keep the international standards of portfolio valuation and reporting.
