About Manuel Hoffhein
Computer Engineer from the University of Talca, graduated with distinction, I have been part of several software development projects in my 3 years of experience.I started my working life at IBM de Chile S.A. forming part of the Banco Estado project. I had the opportunity to learn more about the technologies that IBM is promoting such as Watson, Blockchain, DevOps, and its cloud service BlueMix.I arrived at Solu4B Software Company S.A. looking to improve my field of knowledge and experiences. There I was able to participate in several projects. The best thing about this stage was the contact I had directly with the clients, since I participated from the proposal to the delivery of systems, going through all the stages of software engineering.At GeoInnova I'm working on what I'm passionate about: algorithms and optimizing them. I am also applying knowledge of parallel computing and acquiring knowledge of mining and geostatistics. The algorithms that I have had to implement and improve are: declusterization of data and resource estimation with Kriging and Co-Kriging.
