About Manuel Martins

I am a mathematician transitioning from the academia to industry, as I finish my PhD in non-commutative geometry.My work consists of studying the phenomenons that arise when applying novel techniques of the quantum group revolution of the last 30 years in mathematics to classical concepts of algebraic geometry.Besides the elegance of abstraction and problem solving that attracted me to mathematics in the first place, I also have a keen interest in many topics of the real world such as economics, world history and geopolitics.
