Off-site contractor at ESRIN - European Space Agency’s centre for Earth Observation.Supporting ESA for the management of the IT, network and security infrastructure, which provides services to Earth Observation Programmes (EOP) directorate, and performing tasks such as:- monitoring the service provision and assessing the service performance against the agreed service levels;- supporting the invoicing, budget control, forecast, and contract change management processes;- collecting and assessing requirements for the definition and evolution of the services, consistently with EOP projects’ needs;- preparing the documentation for the procurement of the services;- managing projects aimed to the transfer to operations of new or changed services.Supporting ESA for the development and operations of EOP missions’ Payload Data Ground Segment (PDGS) and other services, and performing tasks such as:- assessing technical and service requirements for the integration of PDGS systems / services into Earth Observation IT, network and security infrastructure;- tailoring the Earth Observation security framework according to the context of the different EOP projects and services;- verifying the compliance of PDGS systems / services with Earth Observation security framework;- supporting the network and security operations of the PDGS systems / services.

Working in the Innovation & Research Operational Unit in liaison with Ericsson Research organization.Driving the evolution and defining the requirements of the synchronization solutions for IP/MPLS Mobile Backhaul, mainly by performing technical studies, designing proof of concept, demos and prototypes, and contributing to patents in the network synchronization area.

Working in the Integration & Verification team within “Regional Processors” Development Area.Designing and performing test campaigns within a large development project for HW & SW solutions supporting GPRS data transmission and relevant security features.Leading a function test team, supervising all test phases, and always guaranteeing delivery precision and quality. Working in the Ericsson Network Synchronization Competence Center.Responsible for Network Synchronization customer services development and marketing.
