As a managing repair rep. I am the point of contact with customers - directing and making decisions regarding the repair process from beginning to end. I work closely with body shops and others to negotiate repair pricing and assess liability. Responsible for completing vehicle inspections, writing estimates, determining total loss evaluations, and setting clear expectations and timelines. Negotiate repair process with body shops. Document information related to the claim and make decisions consistent with claims standards and laws.

As a certified Mercedes Benz technician my responsibilities included adhering to all tech standards, maintaining a CSI score of 93 or higher, and having a clean work environment. 555 is an amateur race team based out of NYC. Since their inception I have been the head mechanic for the team. The fleet of race cars includes two race spec BMW E30 M3’s and a 1977 Porsche 911 with 993 engine swap set up for Vintage races. My responsibilities include track day prep and maintenance as well as keeping the cars in proper working order year round. This has been a real challenge and highlight of my automotive career.

I was an integral team member responsible for helping to manage the clubs fleet of both modern and classic cars of all makes and models as well as being the apprentice mechanic. Responsibilities include: pre-delivery vehicle inspections, return inspections, working directly with the in house head mechanic on maintenance and explaining the finer points of proper driving practices to members. I also help talk members through troubleshooting should they encounter any issues while they have the cars in their possession.

At Ducati I was the shop assistant. Responsibilities included: managing and organizing all shipping and receiving of motorcycles and parts as well as overseeing a satellite location.

During my tenure at Pep Boys I worked as a general automotive technician in a high volume automotive service department. Teamwork was the most important thing I learned during this time. In addition to my responsibilities as a mechanic I also worked with sales, vehicle inspections and client services.
