Direct plant operations and overall site for Itron's largest global manufacturing facility. Responsible for a plant with almost $550M of the total $2.5B annual corporate revenue in Itron's largest global manufacturing plant including over 1000 associates. Experience working with global matrix organizations including nurturing and development of same. Responsible for management of multiple Program's / Projects within my plant and corporate.

Senior Executive for Manufacturing and Supply Chain responsible to set up manufacturing strategy and systems to mass produce rockets (2+ per day). Also tasked with setting up supply chain identifying and developing suppliers who are not familiar or set up for rocket/space mass production. Responsible to drive/steer product program's across company. All organizational, systems, facilities and suppliers required to start a rocket company was the focus. Drove and steered prototype builds together with engineering with focus on Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

Responsible for all aspects of the automobile manufacturing activities. This includes site selection for manufacturing location, any joint venture agreements needed, RFQ development and contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors, design for manufacturability (DFM) of vehicle, facilities and safety director and quality director. Continuous interaction with the board, investors and city/county/state/federal leaders on behalf of company. All process development, tooling/fixturing RFQ's and organizational development developed and ready for deployment. Responsible for all manufacturing strategic planning activities along with company wide strategic initiatives.

Responsible for entire automotive manufacturing operations for internal security and military vehicles including but not limited to pre-fabrication (laser cutting/bending armour steel), fabrication, painting, assembly and testing. Program manager for $50M new automotive manufacturing facility. Ramp up from 1 vehicle / week to 2-4 vehicles / day. Production planning, manufacturing engineering, after sales support, plant engineering and all aspects of day to day operation of entire facility.

Responsible for Assembly Department Subassembly areas including, Doors, Cockpit, Engine, Front & Rear Axle & Marriage. Responsible for all Assembly Logistic Operations including materials, empty returnables, warehouses, customs, internal physical logistics, line side delivery, automatic warehouses, etc.. Responsible for management of over 1500 associates and all aspects of the department including safety, volume, quality and costs.

Responsible for approximately 200 associates with responsibilities in Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) and Preform carbon fiber presses used to form the BMW i3 carbon fiber body panels. Responsible for tooling and press maintenance including over 50 presses. Start-up facility and current ramp up challenges of structure and organizational development, people development, process development and constant optimizations working toward stable manufacturing system.

Have responsibility for quality, safety, cost and delivery of the X3 BMW assembly line production. Responsible for 1000+ Production Associates and over 250 workstations. Responsible for driving & steering all inputs into assembly production to ensure all targets (quality, safety, cost, delivery) are successfully met which includes body shop, paint and engineering. Realized 11% efficiency in first year and 8% in second year. Improved line uptime from approximately 50% at startup to a stabile 97%. Improved quality targets by almost 100%.

Assembly production manager in a BMW German plant w/ 20,000 associates. Manage 400 german associates with 10 direct reports. Responsible for all activities for approximately 95 six meter stations. This includes budget, headcount planning, quality, efficiencies, lean activities, etc.. German language. Improved quality for old 7-series by 100% in last 4 months of series life prior to new 7-series launch by going from stable 60,000ppm to approximately 25,000ppm. Improved budget by reducing a headcount requirement of approximately 60 heads over budget to being just 3-4 heads over budget after 1.5 years (having a total of 262 personnel at start with budget of only 202 personnel).

Assembly quality manager for BMW Manufacturing. Responsible for quality systems, process, product and system auditing, quality tracking metrics and plant quality steering related to assembly issues. Responsible for scrap monitoring and reduction, tool calibration and repair.

Manager for end of line production including finish processes and road test of finished product. Responsible for assembly quality systems, process and system audits, tool verification and calibration and scrap improvement activities.

Assembly engineering manager for electrical testing and coding systems, electrical component assembly process instructions, tooling and fixturing and capital projects. Projects varied in size from $100k to over $4.2M.

Expatriate in BMW Germany R & D facility. Planned all electrical processes and portions of new assembly line for new product line. Various tooling and fixturing, process definition, capital expenditures, etc.. Responsible for new test line implementation and other testing/coding system modifications and updates.

Responsible for process, tooling & fixture planning. Participated in initial start-up activities of new assembly shop by implementing testing & coding electrical systems.
