During my work in the Biodiversity Program as a Masters and PhD student and as a Technical Research Assistant, I developed several activities, such as- Research in neuroscience and social behavior with a focus on cognitive processes and parental behavior modulating the brain of neotropical fish models;- Field collection, sorting and identification of neotropical cichlids.- Statistical data analysis (STATISTICA software and R language);- Experimental design;- Project management;- Fundraising;- Grant acquisition;- Member of evaluation panels within the Graduate Program (international fellowships);- Supervision of undergraduate and graduate students;- Publication of research papers and book chapters (scientific writing);- Time management and strategic organization for problem solving.

Project entitled "Brain complexity and cognition related to social behaviour in fish" - Regular Research Grant FAPESP 16/26160-2.Activities: - Immunocytochemical quantification of fish brain tissue and statistical analysis of data collection; - Quantification of gene expression using qPCR; - Preparation of libraries for RNAseq; - Development of experimental protocols to test cognition in fish models.
