As a part of the Department of Energy sponsored machine learning project in the Digital Water Lab at University of Michigan, I work with wastewater plants, universities, and research organizations across the US to design and implement machine learning algorithms for different purposes in different plants. These organizations include The Water Research Foundation, U.S Department of Energy, DC Water Plant in Washington D.C, and Metro Water Recovery in Denver, CO.In my role, I designed a public toolkit website for water treatment plants to review published research and learn more about machine learning. I also work on code review with other researchers. I work under Professor Branko Kerkez in the UM CEE Department.

This experience expands on my role from the previous summer. My current role now has an emphasis on administration in the ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus tool [SDP] for the company, writing PowerShell scripts and coding/working with the Guidewire software platform. I also configure Crestron and Barco Clickshare Devices. Lastly, I work with end users in SDP's tech support queue to solve hardware and software problems. This involves using PDQ Deploy and PDQ Inventory software. The job roles above have given me experience in using Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets, writing technical documentation of company processes, and customer service skills.

I worked at Farm Bureau Insurance as an intern this past summer. Through this role, I was able to gain experience in both the software and hardware sides of Computer Science/IT. I developed customer service skills, worked with Lenovo Cloud Deploy Software and laptops, worked in tech. support, set up and wired workstations, and more.

I worked as a teaching assistant for the nonprofit org. STEM for All. This consisted of putting together educational slideshows, videos and graphics; setting up exhibits and in-person Open House events for the public; and teaching elementary to upper middle school children about STEM concepts.
