In this role, I worked as a mobile Speech Pathologist in a multidisciplinary practice serving Toowoomba and surrounds. I provided Speech Pathology assessment and intervention for a mixed caseload, with a focus on NDIS participants. Within this role, I have:- Developed a high level of independence in managing a large and varied caseload (30 clients)- Experience in a wide range of practice areas in speech pathology- Experience in complex case management including trauma, mental health and child safety involvement- Been involved in a variety of business development projects to establish Therapy Pro's presence in Toowoomba and the surrounds - and subsequently obtained a contract with Freedom Aged Care, Toowoomba to provide dysphagia assessments and staff trainingI also had the opportunity to lead a quality improvement (QI) project to develop a Speech Pathology assessment of communication skills required for NDIS Supported Living Assessments to be used across multiple sites.
