Engaged in the research project "UDDGait™: Uppsala-Dalarna Dementia and Gait project," focusing on the development of a tool for early detection of dementia risk. Within this context, our investigation focuses on a novel paradigm known as the "dual-task-test", which involves the integration of a well-established mobility assessment, the Timed Up-and-Go (TUG), with a concurrent verbal task, referred to as TUG dual-task (TUGdt). This testing paradigm is recognized as a promising instrument for early dementia detection.

Based on a longitudinal cohort survey study with 255 participants with PD in Sweden, which includes a baseline data collection (2013) and a 3-year follow-up (2016). The data collection includes self-administered- and interview-administered questions/questionnaires, observations and clinical assessments. Responsibilities:◆ Data collection and involving in the ethical application process for the 3-year follow-up survey.◆ Substantial contributions to the study designs, specification of aims and choice of variables of all the studies (studies I-IV) included in my PhD thesis. ◆ Major contributions to analysis and interpretation of quantitative data for all the studies, including multivariable analysis, psychometric evaluation of a self-reported rating scale (i.e. Generic Walk-12), and a follow-up study.◆ Major contributions to writing manuscripts and responses to journal Editors.◆ Presenting work at major international conferences, and conducting several scientific, and popular science oral presentations at different local and national conferences and seminars. ◆ Writing research, travel and education grant proposals.
