UCCS holds their CAE (Centers of Academic Excellence) designation from the NSA in Cybersecurity Defense. We graduate over 200 students each year from over 20 degrees and programs ranging from Engineering and Computer Science to Business, Communications (Documentation, QA), Liberal Arts (Sociology, Psychology) and Criminal Justice.

Red Rocks Community College and Northrop Grumman (among other area employers) have partnered to create the only registered apprenticeship for cybersecurity in Colorado. The apprenticeship combines a strong technical curriculum in IT, networking, and security with on-the-job training and mentorship to create the next generation of well trained, well prepared technologists in cybersecurity.
