I am a proactive university graduate (Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Anthropology) from Nelson Mandela University. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue nearly 3 years of work experience including volunteering. I have the privilege of working for the City of Ekurhuleni as an experiential student, where I learned and continue to accumulate valuable professional skills such as confidential correspondence, data entry, project coordination and executive support. In my previous employment and volunteering roles, I provided and performed general administrative support tasks, which involved the use of technology and the knowledge of different software. I have observed professionals performing debriefing and counselling sessions with individuals and groups. I am an advocate for mental health and wellness hence I studied and I am working on studying further and becoming a Clinical Psychologist in the near future, I hope. I was nominated to be the public relations officer in an organization called Amnesty International Student Chapter in Nelson Mandela University, where I acquired skills in recruitment practices and services and skills in stakeholder relations by interactive means involving social and educational functions. I have impeccable typing skills and I work with strategy and planning. In both my academic and professional life, my employers and peers have consistently praised me as adaptive. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven communication, organizational and teamwork skills, which I hope to leverage into any role.
