In September 2022, Achievement First announced a significant restructuring and dissolved AF Accelerate, effective September 30, 2022.- Recruited to assess, set the vision, and implement an operational, administrative and technical infrastructure to grow and scale a $6.5 million national business unit within Achievement First. - Recommended and was implementing a restructuring of the AFA operations and finance team of 7 FTEs, built upon an intention to centralize operations, maximize alignment between siloed programs, and improve partner experiences by implementing consistency in workflows and platforms among domains such as knowledge management, data collection/visualization, invoicing and contracting. - Spearheaded a 6-month cross-functional initiative to enhance AFA’s custom built student data visualization and analysis software platform in use by over 75 district and school partners. The project required process mapping current user experiences, determining root causes of pain-points and barriers, and managing software vendors to implement code enhancements and development to address user needs. The development work was delivered on-time and on-budget for the 22/23 school year (Over 700 software development hours).
